June 24th-25th, 2023\u2013 Azle, Texas \u2013 Amateur Radio Field Day at the Azle Fire Department, 900 Lakeview Drive, Azle Texas 76020

ARRL\u00a0Field Day is the single most popular on-the-air event held annually in the US and Canada.\u00a0 Each year over 35,000 amateurs gather with their clubs, friends or simply by themselves to operate.<\/p>\n

ARRL Field Day is not a fully adjudicated contest, which explains much of its popularity.\u00a0 It is a time where many aspects of Amateur Radio come together to highlight our many roles. While some will treat it as a contest, most groups use the opportunity to practice their emergency response capabilities.\u00a0 It is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate Amateur Radio to local elected community leaders, key individuals with the organizations that Amateur Radio might serve in an emergency, as well as the general public. For many clubs, ARRL\u00a0Field Day is one of the highlights of their annual calendar.<\/p>\n

You are cordially invited to attend Field Day 2023 for WC5C, at Azle Fire Department. \u00a0Public Information and demonstration 3pm to 5pm Saturday.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Field Day 2023 for WC5C will be especially meaningful as we operate from the N5ZKA Commemorative Azle Emergency Operations Center (EOC).<\/p>\n

Members-Only Set-up is 10am.<\/p>\n

Club Goals:<\/p>\n

0) FUN!
\n0.1) Safety First and Foremost
\n1) 30 Minute Set-up
\n2) Every station on air on time and for the entire contest
\n3) Every station stays on task for band assignment and mode
\n4) Public and government officials are invited to observe or participate
\n5) All logs in N3FJP Software
\n6) FUN!<\/p>\n
